TDS invites applications for the position of Claims Adviser - Full time

Job description

TDS are looking to gain a diligent, goal-oriented professional with the ability, dedication, and focus required to successfully fill the role of a Claims Adviser. This position will be office based - G33 6FB.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Advise and assist clients by telephone and email in relation to complaints and claims
  • Draft responses to complaints or claims in line with client’s instructions
  • Assess policy coverage
  • Notify and correspond with insurers in relation to claims
  • Liaise with insurers and brokers regarding policy coverage
  • Correspond with panel solicitors in relation to claims
  • Liaise with our clinical advisers on clinical matters
  • Regular review of open cases
  • Responsibility of keeping cases up to date on case management system & bordereaux


Key competencies

  • Consistent high performance standards with close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to gather & analyse information & report on findings
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good time management skills, particularly in relation to prioritising own caseload
  • Ability to adapt to a new working environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team when required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Internet Explorer


Requirements:

  • LLB
